Today begins a new season of Design Matters with weekly broadcasts every Monday afternoon through the end of the year. Once again, Debbie has a full season of audio/podcast interviews with designers, artists, writers, thought leaders and general all-around provocateurs. This exciting season will include interviews with Chip Kidd, designer, writer, musician and author of the new book
GO, A Kidd's Guide to Graphic Design; Sheila Bridges, author of
The Bald Mermaid; legendary typographer Oded Ezer; Bobby Martin & Jennifer Kinon, partners at the branding consultancy Original Champions of Design; Dawn Hancock, founder of the branding consultancy Firebelly, and founder of Firebelly University; Terry Teachout, theatre critic at the
Wall Street Journal and author of the new book,
Duke; Alex Center, designer of Vitamin Water; Susan Szenasy, Editor in Chief of
Metropolis Magazine; and Matteo Bologna, designer and founder of the branding consultancy Mucca.
The shows are recorded in a recording studio at the Masters in Branding Program at the School of Visual Arts.
