Popular on the vaudeville stage and in the circus as a trapeze artist and a strong woman, Charmion played upon the tension between feminine beauty, incredible strength and physical perfection. Boldly displaying her partially disrobed physique, she executed a single and double biceps pose for Glasier’s camera.
